Wonderful job. As someone who lives in St. Augustine, I knew much of the information, but there were many facts you mentioned I was unaware of. Great presentation of the Ximenez-Fatio house. I encourage visitors all the time to add it to their list of places to see in our city. Also, just stumbled on the Florida Frontiers series. Wish I had known about it before. Thanks so much for the work you are doing to educate people about the history of our great state.

Hide it, REVEAL IT,then divide it. CULTURE, EXISTENCE, HISTORY and the like. Just a continual observation. "Oh what a tangled web one weaves....."

They was jealous because they were the first biggest & largest global empire in history. That British Empire greatest everything is a boldface lie! They greatest empire in human history is the Spanish Empire. U could look it up or I'll show u or both lol that not only the Spanish had they own empire they owned but they also owned Portugal & Netherlands & their World Empires. That's why they jealous! The lie they told on the Hispanics was called the Black Legends that the Hispanic World Empire Colonizers slaughtered & destroyed the people of the world. Rather it's the Khoisan in the Cape Colony or the Taino in the Greater Antilles or the Hawaiians in Hawaii them niggas is lying! 🤥

Great panel, thank you! First, since Florida's land mass was larger 10,000+ years ago than it is today, have there been any more discoveries of even older burial sites that would now be underwater, 20-30+ miles offshore? I wonder how ocean water and sea bed floor would have impacted older sites, artifacts and skeletal remains.

I'm from Spain and I'm glad that the US is starting to teach all the history that has been hidden by the British for two centuries to damage their historic enemy (the Spanish) legacy. It is true that no empire is 100% innocent and there will always be injustices committed by them, but the Spanish Empire was much less rampant and aggressive with the natives and the Africans than the British Empire (you just need to travel today to any Hispanic country, you will see plenty of mestizos and natives rather than the lack of native people you will find in the US and Canada). I'm happy the Spanish Empire granted freedom and a place to live to all those black communities who were under the British slavers. You should also hear about Bernardo de Gálvez, a Spanish commandant that lead the Spanish Campaign against the British during the American Independence War in the West, helping the rebels colonies who rebelled against the British. He led that campaign along with the first multi-racial, diversity and inclusive army in the world: Spanish, American Natives and Black Africans fighting together to build what today is the US.
